Delete your GRIM account
You can delete your GRIM account and its data at any time: from inside the game, or by email if you no longer have the app installed. You do not need to reinstall GRIM to ask.

Delete in the game
If GRIM is still installed, this is the quickest route. It runs while you wait.
- Open GRIM and tap the menu button in the top-right corner.
- Open Settings, then Account.
- Tap DELETE ACCOUNT.
- Type DELETE in the confirmation box, then confirm.
The game must be online and signed in. Deletion takes effect immediately: your account data is removed from our game services, the account itself is deleted, and the game's data on your device is cleared. If a required step cannot finish, the game says which one, keeps the account in place rather than leaving it half-deleted, and lets you try again.
Deletion is permanent. Progress, heroes, items and any unspent coins, gems or power points are lost, cannot be restored, and are not refunded. If you play GRIM again afterwards, you start a new account with no progress.
Request deletion without the app
Email support@pixamentory.io with the subject GRIM account deletion, and include:
- Your in-game player name with its tag, for example
Name#1234. It is shown on the Account screen in GRIM's Settings. - Whether you signed in with Google Play Games or played without signing in.
- That you want the account and its data deleted.
GRIM accounts are anonymous or linked to Google Play Games. They do not have an email address attached, so we cannot find your account from the address you write from; the player name and tag are how we locate it. If you do not remember your tag, tell us what you do remember and we will let you know whether we can identify the account.
Because deletion cannot be undone, we may ask for proof that the account belongs to you before we delete it, and we ask only for what we need to confirm that. We will never ask for a password or payment details.
Once the account is confirmed, we delete the same account data the in-game button does, send the provider deletion requests described below, and reply to tell you it is done. We answer requests within the period required by applicable law. GRIM's data on your device is removed when you uninstall the app.
Parents and guardians can use the same route to ask us to delete a child's account.
What is deleted
| Data | What happens |
|---|---|
| Your account (Unity Gaming Services player ID and any Google Play Games link) | Deleted |
| Leaderboard scores, with the name and avatar shown beside them | Deleted |
| Economy balances: coins, gems and power points | Deleted |
| Cloud save data: progress, unlocks, rewards and purchase records | Deleted |
| Player reports made against your account, and its moderation standing | Deleted |
| Friends, friend requests and blocked players | Deleted |
| Voice and text chat identity (Vivox) | Any active voice or chat session is closed; provider records are handled by request, as described below |
| Product analytics (GameAnalytics) and install attribution (AppsFlyer) | Collection stops immediately; provider records are handled by request, as described below |
| Crash reports (Sentry) | Not linked to your account, because GRIM attaches no player identity to them; see What we may keep |
| Game data stored on your device | Cleared by in-game deletion; removed by uninstalling the app if you request deletion by email |
Provider records
Three services hold records that GRIM cannot erase from inside the app. For these, we send a deletion request to the provider and track it:
- Vivox — the identity used for voice and text chat.
- GameAnalytics — product analytics events.
- AppsFlyer — install attribution, which only ever received a one-way hash of your player ID.
When you request deletion by email, we include these provider requests automatically. Deleting in the game stops analytics and attribution collection and closes any active chat session straight away, but it does not by itself erase what these providers already hold. To have those records erased as well, note your player name and tag before you delete and email support@pixamentory.io with them. Once an account has been deleted, we may not be able to identify it from a name alone.
Each provider processes deletion requests on its own timeline. We follow every request until the provider confirms it, but we cannot promise a completion date on a provider's behalf.
What we may keep
- A deletion security record — the deleted player ID and its deletion state, with no scores, names or avatars. It exists so a deleted account's scores cannot be published again, and is kept only as long as that security purpose needs it.
- Crash and security records — kept only for the provider's active operational window or as long as needed to investigate security, fraud, or legal claims.
- Records we must retain — limited records may be kept where required by tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute, or other applicable law, and are then restricted to that purpose.
- Backups and operational logs — copies held in our providers' backups and logs are removed on those providers' own schedules, not instantly.
- A record of your request — the minimum needed to show we handled it, such as dates, provider references and the outcome.
Your Google account and Google Play Games profile belong to Google and are not deleted when you delete GRIM. Google's own policies apply to them.
