Responsible gaming
Our games are entertainment, and they should stay that way. This policy sets out how Pixamentory designs for healthy play, the controls available to you, and where to turn if play or spending stops feeling like a choice.

Our approach
Pixamentory makes games to be enjoyed — in sessions that fit around your life, not instead of it. We want players to play because they are having fun, spend only what they are comfortable spending, and stop when they want to stop.
Our games are not gambling services. In-game purchases are optional, virtual currency and items exist for use inside the game only, they have no real-world monetary value, and they cannot be cashed out, traded for money, or transferred for value. See the GRIM terms of service for how virtual currency and items work.
Healthy play
A few habits that keep play healthy, from us to you:
- Take breaks. Competitive matches are intense; step away between sessions, and stop playing when it stops being fun or starts making you angry.
- Keep track of time. Decide roughly how long you want to play before you start, and notice when sessions regularly run past it.
- Play for the game, not the reward. If you find yourself playing only to clear timers, chase rewards, or protect a streak, that is a good moment to pause.
- Keep it in balance. Games should sit alongside sleep, school, work and the people around you — not crowd them out.
Purchases and spending
- Every purchase is optional. Our games are playable without spending, and spending is never required to keep what you have earned by playing.
- Purchases go through the app store. All in-app purchases are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store, under your store account's own authentication and password/biometric settings. We recommend keeping purchase authentication switched on, especially on shared devices.
- Your history is visible. Your complete purchase history is available in your Google Play or App Store account, so you can always see what has been spent.
- Set a personal budget. Decide what a game is worth to you per month and treat that as the ceiling. Never spend to recover from a loss or a bad session.
- Refunds follow the store's refund process and the game's terms.
Minors and parents
Minors may use our games and services only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, as set out in our privacy policy. GRIM is intended for players aged 13 and over, and applies additional protections around ads, analytics and voice chat for young players — see the GRIM community guidelines and the GRIM privacy policy.
If you are a parent or guardian, the most effective controls are the platform's own:
- Purchase authentication in Google Play or the App Store prevents purchases without your password or biometrics.
- Family tools such as Google Family Link and Apple Screen Time can limit play time, approve purchases, and restrict downloads by age rating.
- Talk about spending. Virtual currency is designed to feel effortless to spend; agreeing a budget with your child works better than discovering a bill.
To raise a concern about a minor's account, or to ask us to delete one, email hello@pixamentory.io.
Controls and safeguards
- Promotional messages can be switched off — see the email opt-out in our privacy policy. In-game notifications can be disabled in your device settings.
- You can take a break from your account. If you want us to restrict or suspend your own account for a period, email support@pixamentory.io and we will arrange it.
- You can delete your account through the profile menu in the game or by emailing us, as described in the privacy policy.
If it stops being fun
If play or spending — yours or someone else's — starts to feel compulsive rather than chosen, take it seriously. Warning signs include hiding how much you play or spend, spending money needed for other things, playing to escape rather than to enjoy, and irritability when you cannot play.
Talk to someone you trust, and consider speaking to your doctor or a local mental-health support service — gaming-related distress is something health professionals deal with routinely, and asking early makes it easier. If you would like us to restrict or close your account while you sort things out, email support@pixamentory.io and we will help.
